Belgian companies informed about transport and digitalization projects in Azerbaijan

As part of his working visit to Brussels, Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev attended an event organized by the Federation of Enterprises in Belgium– Agoria.

At the event, which was attended by Belgian companies operating in ICT, transport, and space, information was provided on projects being implemented in Azerbaijan in relevant fields, and prospects for cooperation with the companies were discussed.

At a meeting held with the European Commissioner for Justice Didier Reynders, views were exchanged on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), cooperation in data protection.

Minister Rashad Nabiyev also held meetings with Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Georges Gilkinet and Belgian Secretary of State for Digitalization Matthieu Michel. The meetings focused on transport and digitalization, as well as improving the legal and regulatory framework in these areas.
